Recently, we have been experiencing some difficulties whilst trying to post news stories. Sooooo, here is a quick round-up of some of the events that have happened in September...

  1. Brain Awareness Week was enjoyed by all year groups during the first week of may have been the whole week or for some years, who are becoming experts at understanding how our brain works, a few days. 
  2. Thanks to all of you who came to the Book Fair and purchased books for home.  We are having a big push on home reading so please make sure you read every night and that you bring in your Reading Record to show you are a 'regular reader'. There are rewards for children who manage to read every night.
  3. Macmillan Coffee Afternoon: Another huge thank you to everyone who came to enjoy a slice of cake and contributed to raising nearly 
  4. Macmillan Cakes£200 for such a worthy cause. It was lovely to see so many members of the community coming into school and also having time to go and see the learning around school. Many parents came into classes - or onto the playground - and watched, supported and got involved in their child's learning.
