Pupil Voice

At Deepcar St John's, the views, opinions and ideas of our children are really important to us. As well as the School Council, we have a Pupil Voice group.  This involves children being asked to volunteer their opinions and views on different subjects and aspects of the school curriculum.

Every term a group of pupils from across the school and the subject co-ordinator will meet to discuss how things are progressing in the subject.

Their feedback will be used to modify and reshape future planning to ensure that each subject is maintaining relevance and interest and meeting the needs of our children. This will  give the children a feeling of empowerment as they are allowed to make contributions to the curriculum that is being taught at St John's.

Our first meeting will be held during Summer Term 1. We will share the results on this page.
