Despite the rain, Year 3 had a fantastic time last week on their residential! The children spent the day down at Underbank reservoir taking part in a variety of outdoor activities. They took part in orienteering, bush craft, climbing, zip line and archery. It was wonderful to see many of the children supporting and nurturing each other during the day.

After that, the children returned back to school to camp in tents for the evening. There was a buzz of excitement as the children arrived back at school and saw their tent for the first time. They were very eager to take a closer look inside! Sadly, the bat hunt had to be cancelled due to the rain. Fortunately, the children were able to take part in the evenings activities in the hall. These consisted of: games, zumba, singing and enjoying a delicious hot chocolate with marshmallows.

On the Friday, the children spent the day taking part in other outdoor activities which included: golf frisbee, making bird feeders and making parachutes

The children thoroughly enjoyed the residential, as did the staff!
